In this sermon, I evaluate the historical and archeological evidence for the Exodus. Starting with the Bible’s timeline, I compare evidence and arguments for a 1446 BC Exodus with Amenhotep II as the Pharaoh against the commonly held theory of a circa 1250 BC Exodus under Ramses II.

While Christian archeologists (particularly Joel Kramer @ExpeditionBible on Youtube) and Christian history scholars (particularly Scott Molvar @blksheepbibletalk on YouTube) have been instrumental in identifying the evidence and making similar if not identical arguments…I’ve tried to base my own arguments strictly on the primary source evidence combined with my own historical instincts and training (as an amateur historian).

The goal of the sermon is to expand the foundation of your faith by rooting you into the deep historical accuracy of the Scriptures, using the Exodus narrative as a keystone historical event.

I hope you enjoy, and I welcome all good faith challenges to the arguments and evidence.
